Farrowing Assistant

We are looking for a full time Farrowing Assistant. You will be caring for farrowing sows and piglets on a daily basis. Essential job functions include adhering to bio-security protocols while performing general pig care tasks per specific training and SOP's.

Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 1-2 years experience in animal care preferred, or the desire to learn

· Basic computer and data entry skills

· Availability to work alternate weekends and holidays

· Ability to lift and hold 60 lbs. or more on a regular basis

Salary: $14-15 / hour
