Like his dad, Mike, Andrew got his start in an important role at Whiteshire Hamroc: scraping pens and washing out feed pans.
Today, as Director of AirWorks, a division of Whiteshire Hamroc that designs and builds state-of-the-art livestock barns, Andrew manages production, facilities, logistics and procurement for AirWorks, and refers to himself as a “general applecart up-setter.”
Working with AirWorks customers gives Andrew an opportunity to develop ideas and practices that provide better, more efficient or cost-effective ways to raise pigs, and provides a diversified revenue stream for Whiteshire Hamroc.
Andrew earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Indiana University, a Master of Fine Arts degree from Kent State University and is working toward a master’s degree in ag economics from Purdue and Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University.
Andrew and his wife, Heather, are the parents of son, Rory, and daughter, Nevia. Swimming and going to movies together are some of the families favorite activities.
